The New World final beta starts this week and the good news is that anyone can join Steam this time as it is also a public beta.

After several delays, developer Double Helix Games is preparing for the final beta phase during the New World public beta.

New World was one of Amazon's first major releases and has been in development since 2016.

There have been several game tests since the announcement, and this week's beta will be a big step forward.

Even bigger than the internal beta in July, Amazon Studios has confirmed that more new content will be released in September.

The full patch notes will be released in advance of the public beta release, so players will know if any new areas or weapons have been added this month.

The good news is that unlike the Closed Beta, players don't need a key to play the New World Public Beta.

Instead, Amazon uses Steam Playtest to give interested players the opportunity to request access starting September 8 at 7 a.m. Pacific time (2 p.m. UTC).

When does the New World Open Beta start?

Amazon has confirmed that the New World Public Beta is scheduled to start on Thursday, September 9th at 3 p.m. UK daylight saving time.

In North America, New World’s internal beta begins the same day at 7 a.m. PST.

Amazon has confirmed that the New World Beta will run through September 13 at 6 a.m. BST.

The Open Beta will be available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Forget the new Warzone maps, this Call of Duty update could be huge
A message from Amazon also confirmed that server support will be more robust, but players should still be prepared for issues as they learned earlier this month that

"We still have some work to do before we release New World on September 28th, and the internal beta has helped us immeasurably by testing our servers, helping us find bugs, giving us lots of constructive feedback, and us." with more critical knowledge. Our team is preparing and adapting to it.

"During the closed beta test, there were server issues and long queues due to overpopulation, which prevented some players from experiencing the dangers and beauty of Aeternum.

"The open beta test will take advantage of Steam's new Playtest feature, which will allow all interested players in the regions we support to request free access to the test. The servers will be in North America, Europe, Australia and South America will be available.

"The Open Beta will begin at 7:00 am Pacific time (2:00 pm UTC) on September 9 and will run through September 12 at 11:59 am Pacific time (6:59 am UTC)."

Players are also warned that just like the closed beta, all progress will be destroyed.

That means all New World servers will be clean when the full game experience launches worldwide on September 29th.

There are no signs that Amazon plans to postpone the launch of New Worlds on Steam again in 2021.

But the closer the final release date gets, the more fans should wait for news in the coming weeks.
