    Default Codehacking Part I (PSX)

    The Great PSX Codehacking Bible

    Introduction:

This Guide is a collection of hacking techniques that I have collected
from various places on the Web. I have attempted to give credit to
everyone who has unknowingly contributed to this document. This Guide,
obviously, is always a work in progress. If I have omitted anyone or given
credit to the wrong person then please let me know and I will see that the
proper credit is given. Also, if you would like to contribute a special
technique that hasn't already been published please send it to me as
All-Xplorer is always looking for new material!! HackMan

    Jump Codes
    By Lik
Have you ever sat down and turned on your favorite game and thought to
yourself "Man I wish I could jump higher." Well Lik is here to help you
get out of that bind. And guess what, it is very easy. All that you need
is a GameShark , a Hack Utility, a little patience and some gummy bears in
case you get hungry. I will try to keep this as short as possible so you
can get started fast, here goes...

First off, pop in the game, and start playing through till you get to a
spot where any bad guys don't bother you. After you get that out of the
way and there is nothing around to get in your way, it is time to begin.
Now here are the steps that you want to follow for a Jump Code :

    1. Do a Start Search while you are on the ground.

    2. After that is done, walk around a little bit and do some Equal To
searches while you are walking around to weed out the unwanted memory,
    2 or 3 should suffice.

    3. Now stand in place, and hit the jump button , and right as you are in
mid-air, do a Different To search. You will notice how it got rid of a
lot of the possibilities and narrowed it down to a couple of thousand.
That is a good sign and means that you are doing every thing right.

    4. When you hit the ground after the jump, do a Different To search. You
will notice that the possibilities go down drastically, that is another
    good sign.

    5. Now walk around a little bit and do 2 or 3 Equal To searches as you
are walking around to narrow down the possibilities some more.

    6. Now if the possibilities aren't narrowed down to about 100 or so,
repeat #2 through #5 again until you get about 100 or less
    possibilities.

Now it's time to look at your results. The address for controller codes is
usually in the 800 range. You want to look for an address that has the
value 0 for the Start Search value and the first couple Equal To searches.

And for the first Different To search value, the value should be a 1 or a
2 , and for the second Different To search will hold the value of the
Start Search which should be 0 , as will the rest of the Equal To
searches. Now if there are a bunch of results like that, you will have to
test them all out, but be patient, for this is the tedious part.
When you select the address that you want to test, in the value slot,
enter in the value for the first Different To search ( 1 or 2 ). Some
times when you have the code running, your character will automatically
jump in the air, if not just hit the jump button, if you are positive that
you have the right code and nothing is happening, bump up the value a
couple of numbers. The character will probably jump really high into the
air and not come back down when the code is on, or you will be pressing
the jump button a couple of times and each time you hit it the character
don't worry, all you will have to do is apply an activator code to
the code -- let me show what to do:

    1. First take a look at FNG's Hack Tip for the explanations of the D0
and D4 codes to make sense of what you are about to get into.

    2. After you have a sense and knowledge of that it is time to move on,
    and finish up the code.

    3. Now it is time to get your code together.

    4. For example if your code is 800B4556 0002 and you are decide to use a
D4 code (not compatible with the Xplorer - use a D0 or 70 code), and the
button that makes you jump is X , and the value for X is 0040 , your
code will look like the following:
    D4000000 0040 Mp
materia in FF7. Just make sure that if you used the item you are trying to
mod. It will not fill up your health. Now. Go into search results. Add
some codes to the active list. Change the values down (Or up, But I like
down more) by one. Go back into the game and use the item. Did it heal you
the amount it was supposed to? If it did then delete them from the active
list and do an equal to search for the same number, to get rid of the
codes that didn't work. Keep repeating until you find the code. When you,
Use the same method to narrow down the active list as was used in 3.1 and
3.2. Once you have found the code change the digits to: 0001. And make
sure that it only heals you one HP/MP/BP or whatever the item heals. Now,
write down the code as usual. If you want that item to heal you to full.
And you can get a max of 9999 HP in that game, then the code would be
2710. 2710=10000 in Hex. If you can only get 999 HP in the
    game, then use 03E8.

Now, Something a little more complicated. Changing the effects of
in-battle items. I haven't done much work in this field. But I figure it
    works this way:

Ok, Now, Find out what the digits are for all the spells. (once again,
CodeTwink - Home of the GameGenie PS3 usually has lists like that.). Make sure you have at least
3 of an item that casts one of the spells you can normally get in the
game. Go into battle. Do a known value search for that number. Win the
battle. If possible go to a different part of the world so you have
different backgrounds and enemies. Get into a battle. Do an Equal to
search for that number again. Repeat this until the results are low
enough. 30 or below is ideal, but 100 - 150 and below are tolerable.

Although annoying. And you will need a lot of that item (or an infinite
item code...) Now, Add a bunch of codes into the active code list. And
change the digit up or down one. And look at the list to see what spell
that corresponds to. Go back into the game and use the item. If it used
the spell it regularly does. Use the same method to delete those codes
from the list. Add some more codes. And try again. If you do get a
different spell than normal. Then use the same method as always to narrow
down the active codes. Then write down the code.

    Position Mod
    This is actually pretty easy.
Get into the game... blah blah... get to a map. any one.. (Preferably
    NOT the world map)
Now do an unknown value search.
    Walk right.
Do a greater then last search.
    Walk up.
Do an Equal to last search.
    Walk left.
Do a less then last search
    Walk down.
Do an Equal to last search

Get how it works? Right=higher number, left=lower number.
Keep doing searches based on that until you get your code.
If you go into the memory editor you will find the address to modify your
up/down position right near the left/right one. This code can help you
make a walk through walls code. As well as just help you get past a
stubborn NPC and skip a part of the game.

    Special Hacking Methods
    by: Neo Ultra Gamer

Chest Position Modifier / Item Slot Modifier

Alright. First find a position in the Chest / Item Screen you want to hack
    the Item code for.
Now since you've done that do an Unknown Search.
Now place an item in its position and do Different To Last. Swap out items
    and aga
give you an item modifier for just that slot, but to get the next slot,
hack an item mod in its position. Now compare both addresses:

    I.E.
    Slot 1 Item Mod
    80000000-????

    Slot 2 Item Mod
    80000002-????

As you see at the end of the first "80"#s, it adds 2. So to get the next
slot after next keep adding 2:

    I.E.
    Slot 3
    80000004-????

    Slot 4
    80000006-????
    See that wasn't hard.

    Have All Maps

With the all maps, go into the map screen and bring up the selections of
maps and start a unknown search. Once you find a new listed map do greater
than last. And keep doing that, add equal to last to go by it fast, until
    you come up with it.

    Unlock All Doors

There are a lot of ways to hack a code to unlock all doors. I use one
similar to the event done code - that is, save in a place by a door that
is locked and start an unknown search. Now at the door do equal to. Unlock
it and do different to follow by equal to. Then load it back up and keep
    repeating this.

    Cut-Scene / FMV Modifiers

Press the freeze button while a cut-scene / FMV is playing and start an
Unknown Value search. Play the same cut-scene, do an "equal-to" search.

Play a different cut-scene, search for "different-to" values. THROW OUT
ALL CODES that have value "FF"... Look for everything else, turn all codes
that are not "FF" on (some of them one at a time). Play a cut-scene /FMV,
if you play the same cut-scene / FMV no matter where you are, turn off a
few codes, (WRITE THEM DOWN), until you get the activate codes that do not
play the same cut-scene. Eliminate those codes. Turn on one code at a time
(that you've previously written down) until the cut-scene never changes.

OK, now just play all the cut-scenes, press freeze button, write down
digits, repeat until you get all the cut-scenes... If you have been
through all cut-scenes and notice missing digits, try those missing digits
in your new GameShark code. Sometimes the game will freeze with the
missing digits, but you may find a hidden, or 'unfinished' cut-scene.

Enemy Health Modifier (Mostly in RPG's)

One of the most simple codes of all. There are 2 methods you can use to do
    this. First the easy one.

    Known:

1st: Start a known search and put in the number.
2nd: Hit the enemy and put in the new number after that.
3rd: Keep do that until you have a good amount of possibilities.

If that doesn't work here is the unknown method.

    Unknown:

1st: Start an unknown search and perform equal to after that.
2nd: Hit the enemy some and do less than.
3rd: Repeat 2 and do an equal to after that.
4th: If in any case a enemy gains more health do greater than, but if
they don't just ignore this step.

Now when you are testing it out. Select about 1-10 code possibilities and
set them to 0000 or just leave them the way they are. If the opponent dies
if you set it to straight 0s then one of them has to be it, but if not you
have to try the rest or start in a new area. If you left it the way it is
and it seems your enemy is not going down then you have it, but if not you
have to try the rest or start in a new area. You can have fun with this
code by using it as a one hit death or surprising a person who thinks they is very easy but it takes awhile. There are two methods to do this
but I'm only going to introduce one for now.

    Unknown:

1st: Start at a screen where the computer is taking over a character and
    do an unknown.
2nd: Bring a human player in with the same character the computer just had
and do a different to search.
3rd: Let the computer come back in and do different to.
    4th: Repeat step 2
5th: Switch out characters with the human player and do equal to last.
6th: Repeat all steps until you get it.

You will notice you have it when that Player can control the computer.

Cut-Scene / Level Modifiers - Code Generator and Memory Editor Method
    by Macrox

    Cut Scene Modifiers:
    - Press the GS button (freeze the game) while the opening cut scene of
    game is playing.
    - Do an unknown search.
    - Wait till next cut scene and do greater than search.
    - Restart the game. Wait for opening cut scene. Do a less than search.
    - Again wait until next cut scene and do greater than search.
    - Wait for another new cut scene and do another greater than search.

You may have to do this for quite some time to get the possibilities down.
If you feel you are not getting anywhere try the following:

    - At the opening cut scene do a known search of 0 or 1. Make an
    assumption.
    - Wait until the next cut scene and search for values equal to 1 or 2
depending what you choose the step before this.
    - Restart game and wait for opening cut scene. Do known search for 0 or 1.
    - Again wait for next cut scene and do a search for 1 or 2.

Level Modifiers and Cut Scene Modifiers:

Now for my secret. Many games are programmed where the level modifier is
addressed close to the cut scene modifier. This is how Castlevania and
Castlevania LOD level and cut scene modifiers were hacked.

    - Start game and take initial unknown search on opening level.
    - Either wait for interlevel or new level and take greater than search.
    - Wait for next interlevel or new level and again take a greater than
    search.
    - Play that level awhile and take an equal to search.
    - Restart the game and take less than search on opening level.
    - Codes should be dropping in number of possibilities now.
    - Once you get the codes possibilities down to 20 or so write them down.
    - Start the memory editor and look for the codes you have on your list.

The codes you have should have values no greater than 3 or 4. Try changing
the code value in the memory editor to something smaller or larger. For
instance, if the value is 3 try changing it to 6. This should take you to
a different level. Once it works you have the level modifier and
    inter-level modifier.

Now that you have the level modifier you can find the cut scene modifier
with the memory editor by inspection. Inspection means looking around by
going up and down the address screen while a cut scene is playing for that
level. Since most new levels run a cut scene this makes things easier. You
should find the cut scene modifier rather quickly. Try changing the value
after the current cut scene is done. WARNING! As I have often stated when
submitting cut scene codes: "Running cut scenes out of their natural
location or level might cause the game to freeze or do weird things like
have your character fall into empty space once the game resumes."

Sudden Death Codes For PlayStation / Nintendo 64
    By Lik

Hey people! Lik is here again to deliver you another Hacking Tip. Have you
ever heard of Sudden Death Mode? It's when the timer of your favorite
fighting game reaches 10 seconds: it brings you and your opponent's health
down so one hit will kill either you or your opponent. Like the way that
sounds? Well if you do grab your favorite fighting game, and your gear and
    follow these instructions.
First off, we are going to find the address for the timer. Let's get
    hacking!
    1. Get into the game and start a match, and when the match starts and
the timer starts counting down, do a Start Search.
    2. Now get back into the game and as soon as the timer goes down a
number, do a Less Than Search.
    3. Repeat Step 2 until you have only a couple of possibilities left.
    4. Now it is time to look at your results.

When you are looking at your results, say for instance if your last search
was performed when the timer was at 87 seconds, the value for that should
be 57 in HEX or 87 in Decimal. Please note that in some games the value
might be something off the wall like 4E7B, if that is the case you're
going to have to play around with the value until you find out which value
setting will give you a certain number in hex. Also, some games have the
timer as being 1 for on and 0 for off, if that is the case, you cannot do
this code. Ok if everything is working for you, let's finish this part of
    the code.
Now take your address and make the value 10. For example, your code for
the timer should look like this: 800765FA 000A (A is ten in hex, if you
need help with decimal to hex conversion, use a scientific calculator).
Now the next part is to make the timer code a "D" code. So your code
should now look like this: D00765FA 000A. The reason for this is so when
the timer reaches 10 seconds, it will execute the next line of code. If
you don't understand this, please look at the archived Hacking Tip on "D"
codes. Now write your finished timer code down and let's move to the next
part, which is to find the address for health for both players.
Just in case you don't how to find health, here's how. You have to find
the Health for P1 and P2 for this code. Let's get moving!

    1. Start a match and once the match starts and before any of you gets
    hit do a Start Search.

    2. Now get hit, and do a Less Than search.

    3. Repeat Step 2 until you have only a couple of possibilities left.

    4. Now look at your results. Once you find the address for your health
(P1), look at the value for the first search you did when you had full
health (the Start Search). Now if you didn't hit P2 and he had full
health when you did the Start Search, his value for full health will be
the same as yours (P1). Now right that value down for full health so we
can find P2 health really fast!

    5. Now start a new match and we are going to do a Known Value search.
Plug in the value for full health in the Equal To ???? box and before P2
loses any health click the Equal To ???? (with the value typed in).

    6. Now get back in to the game and hit P2 and do a Less Than search.
After that you should only have a couple of results left, If not Repeat
    this step again.
Look at your results and find the address for P2 health. Now that you have
both addresses for health, it's time for the ne time for the last step: Assembling the code.
For this code to work for both players you have to put the code together
    like this:

    Timer Code: D00765FA 000A

    P1 Health: 800782DE 0001

    Timer Code: D00765FA 000A

    P2 Health: 800782E0 0001

Now you have your code. You may also make the code so that it will only
bring P1 health down or vice versa, so just enter the timer and P1 health.

    Example:
    D00765FA 000A
    800782DE 0001

Now how do you like that? Pretty easy, huh? If you are having any trouble
with anything or have any questions, please drop me a line.
Until next week this is Lik signing out, and Happy Hacking!

Hacking The Useful Timer for PlayStation/Nintendo 64
    By Lik
Hello everyone! We're back with another Hacking Tip. This is probably
something that all of you have overlooked at one point. Who would have
thought that a timer would be useful other than to stop game time? Well it
is, you can use it to activate other codes. You know those games were
having a code load from the beginning will cause the game to lock up, well
try linking a code to the gamer timer (a timer that counts down or up in a
particular point of a game). Or like we learned last week, you can link
specific codes like health for instance, to drop when the timer reaches a
certain value. Finding the address for the timer has to be one of the
easiest codes to find. Just in case you forgot how or you are new to this
whole code hacking thing, here is how you find the timer:

    1. Get into the game and when the timer starts counting down, do a Start
    Search.

    2. Now get back into the game and as soon as the timer goes down a
number, do a Less Than Search.

    3. Repeat Step 2 until you have only a couple of possibilities left.
Or if the timer counts up do this:

    1. Get into the game and when the timer starts counting, do a Start
    Search.

    2. Now get back into the game and as soon as the timer goes up a number,
    do a Greater Than Search.

    3. Repeat Step 2 until you have only a couple of possibilities left.

In some instances, the timer is turned on once the game starts, so there
is a value to turn the timer on or to turn it off. Usually it is a value
of 0001 to make the timer start (to turn it on) and the value of 0000 to
turn it of (to deactivate it). This is how you go about finding that:

    1. Get into the game and right before the timer starts to count down or
turn on, do an Equal To 0 search.

    2. Get back into the game and once the timer turns on, do an Equal To 1
    search.

    3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2.
Now that you know the different ways to find the address for timers and
clocks, use the timer as a tool for spicing up your codes. Just make the
timer a "D" code and the possibilities are endless! Try linking certain
codes to the timer and make your favorite code activate when the clock
    reaches a certain time.

Enjoy, and I will be back next week with another Tip. Happy Hacking.

    Pass/Fail Codes For PlayStation/Nintendo 64
    By Lik

Howdy everyone, this is Lik here with this week's Hacking Tip. You know
those games where, at the end of a mission or a race or what have you, you
get a pass or fail ranking? How would you like to always get a passing
ranking even though you didn't really pass? I sure you would love to do
that. Grab your gear and let's get hacking!

    1. Get into the game and play through the level and Fail the mission. As
soon as the Failed message pops up on the sc couple of times to narrow down the possibilities
    some.

    4. Now get back into the game and Pass the mission and when the Passed
message appears, do a Different To search.

    5. Get back into the game and Pass the mission again and as soon as the
Passed message pops up, do an Equal To search.

    6. Repeat Step 5 a couple of times to narrow down the possibilities
    some.

    7. Repeat Steps 2 thru 6 until you have only a couple of possibilities
    left.

Now it is time to check your results. You should be looking for the value
0001 for passed and 0000 for failed.

Okay, now you're ready to test the codes out. Your address for passed
should look something like this: 8005f254 0001. Now play through the
mission and fail it on purpose. If it says passed at the end, you have
your code! If not, test out all of the possibilities you have, in some
occasions the values might be obscure, just remember what search equaled
what (Passed or Failed), and plug in the passed value and play the mission
and fail it to see if you have the right address.
That was pretty easy, huh? I thought so.

I'll return next week with another Hacking Tip. Until then, Happy Hacking!

Start With A Specific Weapon For PlayStation/Nintendo 64
    By Lik

This weeks Hacking Tip is by request. Someone out there in game land
wanted to know how to hack a Start With A Certain Weapon Code. So Lik is
    here to grant his wish.
Well I am sure that quite a few of you have always wanted to start out
your game with the super mega kick ass weapon, you know the kind that you
find in the last few levels of the game that will allow you to cause the
most damage and wreak havoc? Well grab your gear and lets begin.

    1. Get into the game and as soon as the mission starts and you have your
weapon in hand, do a Start Search.

    2. Get back into the game make sure you still have the same weapon that
you started off with, and do an Equal To search.

    3. Walk around with the same weapon, walk in different area and do a
couple of Equal To searches to narrow down the possibilities some.

    4. Now get back in the game and go find the weapon of your desire, and
equip it and do a Different To search.

    5. Get back into the game and pick up the same gun as above (the weapon
you want to start with) and do a couple of Equal To searches as you are
    walking around with it.

    6. Now restart the game and when you have your original weapon back, do
    a Different To search.

    7. Repeat steps 2 thru 6 until you only have a few possibilities left.

    8. Now it is time to look at your results.

It is trial and error time now. Remember what search was performed with
what weapon, and look at all of the values for the weapon you want to
start with. Test out all of the addresses to see which one is the right
one. Your code might look something like this: 8005E436 0002 or if it is
in 8 bit (read up on 8 and 16 bit addresses in the previous Hacking Tips),
something like this: 8005E436 0200 and if that is the case, you want to
change the 8 bit address to this in when you load it into your GameShark:

    3005E437 0002.

The values should be in the low number range, if they are
all high, test every address until you have your code.

That wasn't hard now was it? I hope you enjoyed this Hacking Tip and if
you have any questions or any Hacking Tip requests, drop me a line.
    Til next week, Happy Hacking!

Hack Turbo Mode Codes for PSX and N64
    By Lik

Ever wanted your car to reach top speed insta the game and start a race. Once the race has
begun and you just left the starting line and your car just started
moving, do a Start Search when the car is at about 50 mph.
    2. Now get back into the game and when the car is at about 70 mph, do a
    Greater Than search.

    3. Get back into the game and when your car is doing about 100 mph, do
    another Greater Than search.

    4. Get back into the game and when your car is at about 120 mph, do a
    Greater Than search.

    5. Get back into the game and when your car is at about 150 mph, do a
    Greater Than search.

    6. You should now have only about 5 to 10 possibilities remaining, if
not follow the progression found in the steps above (go a little faster
then do a Greater Than search) until you only have a couple of results
    left.

    7. Now it is time to look at your results.

It is trial and error time now. When you're testing out all of the
addresses, make sure you plug in the value of the last search that you
performed (when the car was traveling at 150mph). When you are testing
them out and you will know when you have the right code because your car
will automatically be traveling at the same speed when you give it gas.
Now once you have found the right address, bump up the value till the car
is traveling at a ridiculous speed. Your code for the speed should look
something like this: 80067BF4 00C8. Now it is time to apply a Button Press
    Activator (Joker Command).

Find a button on your controller that doesn't do anything in the game so
you can use that to activate the code. Read any hacking Guide about
joystick activators and find out how to find the address and the values
for the controller and the buttons. Now take that activator that you
hacked and apply it to your code. If you used L2 for your activator
button, your code should now look something like this:

    TurboMode
    (Press L2)
    D004FD45 FEFF
    80067BF4 00C8

Now once you hit the L2 button your car will hit tops speed (or what ever
you set the speed too)! Pretty easy huh? Well I hope that you enjoyed this
tip and if you have any questions, drop me a line.
And that's it, easy as pie!

Hacking Infinite Balls for PSX, N64, and GB

    By Lik
Infinite Balls for PSX, N64 and GB - The title says it all!! Do you want
to have infinite balls for your favorite Pinball (what did you think it
was for?) game? Lik is here to make your dream come true. Well read on.

    1. Start a game and look to see how many balls they start you off with.
It is usually 3 so when the balls read 3 do an Equal To 3 search.

    2. Get back into the game and lose a ball (2 balls left) and do an Equal
    To 2 search

    3. Get back into the game and lose another ball so you only have 1 ball
left and do an Equal To 1 Search.

    4. By now you should only have about 5 possibilities left if even that.
    Now look at your results.

Well it's trial and error time. Test out to see what is the right address
and bump up the value to 63 (99) so you have 99 balls. Your code should
look something like this: 8006452F 0063. Now tell me that wasn't the
    easiest code to hack?

No Random Battles Code for PSX, N64, and GB
    By Lik

Hi kids this is Lik here, long time no see! This Hacking Tip is buy
request, some lost soul wanted to know how to hack a No Random Battles
code. Since Pokemon Gold is a good game to use as an example so that will
be the game we will be using this week. This technique will and walk around in town on the dirt road or in a
house and do a Start Search for an Unknown Value.

    2. Get back into the game and walk around some more and do an Equal To
    search.

    3. Repeat Step 2 about 2-3 times.

    4. Now walk into the grass to invoke a battle with a Pokemon. When one
finds you, just as the screen is going into battle, do a Different To
    search.

    5. Get out of the battle and walk onto safe grounds and do a Different
    To search.

    6. Repeat Steps 2 thru 5 until you only have a few remaining
    possibilities left.

    7. Now it is time to check your results.

Now if you ended your last search while you where in battle, the value for
the battle screen for Pokemon Gold is 18. Look for that value in the
results that you have left. If that was the case, find the code that had
the value of 18 and change it to 00 and test it out. If you are walking
around in the grass for a long period of time and no Pokemon is hitting
(making a battle happen) you have your code. If you ended your last search
when you were out of battle, the value would be 00. If you have more than
one code with the value 00, test out all of them to see what one works.
Your code should look like this: 91000BD2.
Remember that you can use this technique on PSX and the N64. Well I hope
you enjoyed this tip and I will see you next week.

    Hacking For A Super Toggler
    By Neo Ultra Gamer
Even though a Super Toggle Joker is not needed for every game, you may
still want to use it for convenience. Here is an explanation of the Super
Toggle Joker -- A super toggle joker consists of:
    1) Joker command, with quantity digits of buttons you want to use to
    activate the codes;
    2) "80000002 4D43" - which is the same for EVERY game;
    3) Joker command, with quantity digits of buttons you want to use to
    de-activate the codes;
    4) "80000002 0000" - which is the same for EVERY game.
    5) Then, on top of every code you want the super toggle joker to affect,
put "D0000002 4D43" - also the same for EVERY game. "D0000002 4D43" is
    known as the Joker Toggler.

For example, if you want to use a Super Toggle Joker for FFVIII for Time
    Bar Always Full:

    1) Create a new code and name it "Super Toggle Joker". Put in the
following codes IN THE ORDER GIVEN:
D0081B0E XXXX - activator (Note: The first part of the code is the
    specific game's joker code).
    80000002 4D43 - same for EVERY game.
D0081B0E YYYY - de-activator (Note: The first part of the code is the
    specific game's joker code).
    80000002 0000 - same for EVERY game.
XXXX are the quantity digits for the buttons you want to use to activate
the codes. YYYY are the quantity digits for the buttons you want to use
    to de-activate the codes.

    2) Save this code.

    3) Create another new code and name it "Time Bar Always Full". Put in
the following codes IN THE ORDER GIVEN:

NOTE: This is just an example of how the code would originally look::
    Time Bar Always Full
    800EECE4 2EE0
    800EEDB4 2EE0
    800EEE84 2EE0
NOW: We modify the code so that it is either activated or deactivated by
    the the Toggle Joker:
    Time Bar Always Full
D0000002 4D43 - Toggle Joker - Same for EVERY game.
800EECE4 2EE0 - Code you want affected by Super Toggle Joker.
D0000002 4D43 - Toggle Joker - Same for EVERY game.
800EEDB4 2EE0 - Code you want affected by Super Toggle Joker.
    D0000002 4 Save and you're done.
    * Note: This is only one example. The toggle joker is the same for EVERY
game. Put it on TOP of EVERY code you want affected by the super toggle
    joker.

Heads or Tails for PSX, N64, GBC
    By Lik

Want to control the coin toss in your favorite games? Here's how to hack
your own codes to do just that.
How many of you would like to be in control of the coin tosses in your
favorite games? Well now you can. Just read on to find out how you can
always make it land on either heads or tails by hacking your own code.

    1. Get into the game and go to the coin toss and after the toss is
complete and it lands on a side (heads or tails) do a Start Search.

    2. Get back to the game and do another coin toss, now if it land on the
same side as the last toss you did, do an Equal To search. If it lands
on a different side, do a Different To search.

    3. Repeat Step 2 until you only have about 10 possibilities remaining.

    4. Now it is time to test your results.

Now look at your results. The values for heads or tails should be either a
0 or 1 or 1 or 2, with one of those values assigned to a specific side.
Test your codes out by coin to the coin toss and if the coin keeps landing
on the same side (test this out about 5 or 6 times to make sure it isn't
just luck of the draw) you have your code. You will be able to figure out
what values are for what side. Your code should look something like this:

    8002E63F 0001

Just plug in the value for what side you want the coin to always land on
and you are set! That was pretty easy, huh? I thought so.
If you have any trouble, feel free to drop me a line.
